Mr. Andraschko
is a Canadian citizen with 7 years experience in various aspects of both surface
and underground coal mining. He was most recently employed as the Ventilation
Engineer at Smoky River Coal Limited in the foothills of Alberta, Canada.
Prior to this, Mr. Andraschko was employed on a contract basis at various
surface mines throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan and was involved in different
projects and assignments ranging from surveying to mine modeling to cost analysis
of equipment purchases.
He is fully versed
in the use of the major software office suites, as well as various ventilation
modeling software and drafting /design packages. In addition, Mr. Andraschko
possesses a working knowledge of mine modeling software.

Associate - Mine Environmental and Mining Engineering - rokdok
- Provided consulting
services related to mine environmental engineering to Grande Cache Coal
Corporation, including design and numerical modeling of the ventilation
system, fan selection and mine environmental monitoring system and sampling
reviews.
- Provided open
pit mine planning service to Grande Cache Coal Corporation using Lynx software,
including haul road design and pit optimization.
- Conducted
a design review of potential ventilation systems for hydraulic mining potential
in Alberta.
1994 - 2000:
Mining Engineer - Smoky River Coal Limited
(company went into receivership Mar 2000)
Reporting to
the Chief Mining Engineer (Underground), Mr. Andraschko was responsible for:
- The design
of the ventilation systems for the underground mines, both planned and existing,
at Smoky River Coal Limited.
- Conducting
the weekly ventilation surveys of air quantities, determine the deficiencies
and direct the remedial actions required.
- Conducting
sampling of the mine air for quality and as a method of monitoring for spontaneous
combustion.
- Monitoring
incombustible dust application to the roof, floor, and ribs within the mine
to ensure compliance with provincial legislation.
- Monitoring
respirable dust concentrations within the working areas and the employee
exposures.
These responsibilities
required close interaction with the mine operations staff and hourly employees.

Reporting to
the Chief Mining Engineer, Mr. Andraschko was responsible for:
- Reconciling
previous year's mine plans to actual work completed,
- Investigating
and reporting on existing mine equipment productivities, and,
- Completed
cost analysis for new equipment purchases.

Reporting to
the Chief Mining Engineer, Mr. Andraschko was responsible for:
- Surveying
various aspects of the mine,
- Assisting
in completion of geological cross-sections to be used to construct the geological
models of various active and planned pits, and
- Conducting
equipment productivity studies.

the Chief Mining Engineer, Mr. Andraschko was responsible for:
- Surveying
various aspects of the mine,
- Carrying out
in-pit sampling of the coal seams as they were exposed,
